In 2008 Ehrhardt Tool became the custodians of the designs and intellectual property of CyberTech International. This has created a huge new opportunity for automated brazing. Up until now there have been no producers of brazing equipment that had the size and resources necessary to invent and develop ground breaking technologies in this field. It also puts automated brazing right in the middle of where most of the customers who use these technologies are located to provide faster turnarounds and local service. Ehrhardt's manufacturing capabilities are housed in an 82,000 square foot building. The fully air-conditioned building was built for Ehrhardt in 1997 after it became clear that Ehrhardt could no longer expand upon the old facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The manufacturing area consists of 52,000 square feet, featuring twenty-ton crane capacity. Ehrhardt's intellectual departments, including design and engineering, are located in the new facility along with the production floor, facilitating efficiency and communication. Communication is enhanced by the Cat5 network that runs throughout the entire facility. The facility is located on five acres in an industrial park, allowing for future expansion when needed.
